Dhaka- A special team of Divisional Intelligence office (Dhaka) under Department of Narcotics (DNC) arrested an alleged drug trader along with 3600 pieces of yaba and Tk 10,000 from a flat of Dhania Bazar Road in the capital on Sunday.UNB agencyActing Deputy Director of the divisional intelligence office Mohammad Mamun said based on secret information, the special DNC intelligence wing team conducted a drive at a flat of a multistoried building at around 4pm and arrested Rafique Chowkidar, 28, and recovered the contraband drug consignment along with the money from his possession.During preliminary interrogation, the drug trader reportedly reveled that he has been involved in bringing the drug from Teknaf and storing those in his flat for a long time. Later, he supplied to other traders in Dhaka and Barisal, he said.A case was filed with Jatrabari police station under Narcotics Control Act 1990.
