A Dhaka court on Sunday rejected the bail pleas of BNP leaders Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Mosaddek Ali and Ruhul Kabir Rizvi in five separate cases filed with Motijheel, Paltan, Jatrabari and Mirpur Model Police Stations.
Judge-in-Charge of Dhaka’s Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court KM Imrul Kayes passed the order in morning.Of the cases, two were filed against Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir with Motijheel and Paltan Police Stations, two against the party’s Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi with Jatrabari and one case was filed against party chief Khaleda Zia’s adviser Mosaddek Ali with Mirpur Police Station.
Advocate Joinul Abedin Mesba filed the bail petitions in five cases of vandalism and arson attack against the three leaders. – Court Correspondent
