Foreign Office alerts against forged letters sent to banks

A group of people, using forged signatures of officials at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are sending letters to various banks and financial institutions apparently seeking financial support in the name of publishing various publications marking international days.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has recently detected such move by a section of unscrupulous people.The Ministry on Monday urged all to remain all alert about such letters in a statement and urged all to contact with the Director General of External Publicity Wing ( 9562952) to verify any such letter.
