Dhaka – The High Court Division of the Supreme Court yesterday rejected the bail of an accused of an arms case.
The apex court also asked Humayun Kabir Jonu, another accused in an arms case to surrender before the trial court within seven days as he secured bail by submitting forged documents.The High Court asked the Registrar General of the Supreme Court to file a criminal case against Jonu for committing forgery to get bail from the court. He submitted false documents to the court in the arms case.
The HC bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Shahidul Karim passed the order after hearing on a bail petition filed by Shahar Ali, another accused of the same case. – Special Correspondent
