JCD enter the SUST campus after 54 months

Tensions prevailed on the Shahjalal University of Science and
Technology (SUST), Sylhet  as  the ousted opposition Jatiyatabadi
Chhatra Dal( JCD) men staged a comeback on the campus on 27th June,
Thursday for the first time after around 4 and half years of grand
alliance led by Bangladesh Awami League came in office.
As part of the central programme of the student affiliate of the BNP
to demand the withdrawal of the case filed against JCD central
president Abdul Quader Bhuyan Jewel,they held rally and procession.
Starting the procession from the Tapoban area adjacent to the campus
at around 1: 00 pm, they entered the campus through the main gate and
paraded the main streets followed by the rally held in front of the
Vice Chancellor’s office.
The speakers said, “Vice-Chancellor (on extra duty) Prof. Dr. Ilias
Uddin Biswas , Proctor Himadri Shekor  Roy and other members of the
administration are mostly corrupt. We demand the punishment of them.”
SUST unit convener Jahangir , joint conveners and  around 100
activists took part there.
