Miscreants torched a local land office in Sadar upazila early Saturday, during the indefinite countrywide transport blockade, enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.Mahabub Alam, senior station officer of Maizdi Fire Station, said a group of miscreants set afire the land office (assistant commissioner’ s office) by hurling a petrol bomb in the area around 3 am, burning down valuables documents.Informed, two fire fighting units rushed in and doused the blaze. -UNB, Noakhali
