The Pir Shaheb of Charmonai, Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim on Saturday announced a programme of ‘Peace march’ on April 3 to press the end of the prevailing political impassse. He said in a statement that the political impasse has made the life of miserable, and everyday people were getting burnt in in violence of the politics of power.The Pir Shaheb who is also the Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh said that in the political deadlock while people of different professional and occupational groups were expressing blind allegiance of the two main political parties, some government servants were behaving like political activists by forgetting their responsibilities to the republic.
The Naybe Ameer of IAB Mufti Syed Faizul Karim said that incumbents have engaged themselves in a dangerous game of forcibly making their grip on power permanent. He said that the situation has extremely worsened as they did not take any initiative to overcome the crisis, said a press release on Saturday. – News Desk
