Dhaka, Nov 15 – The 20th Nabanna festival was held at Fine Art Faculty of Dhaka University (DU) campus on Wednesday.Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the daylong festival, said a DU release here.
Jatiya Nabanna Utsab Udjapon Parishad organised the event that included a discussion titled ‘Nabanna Kothan’ and a cultural function.
A total of 22 artists and Professors Samarjit Ray Chowdhury, Abdus Shakur Saha, Abul Mannan, Rezaun Nobi, Kamal Pasha Chowdhury, Ashok Karmoker, Nasima Tuhiny, Hironmoy Das and Rashadul Huda participated on the occasion, the release added.
Later, a procession was brought out from Fine Arts Faculty which paraded the Teacher-Student Center (TSC) of the university and returned to the venue. – From BSS
