Savar – The security office of Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Monday, recovered a total of 112 bottles of phensidyl in the university campus and detained a rickshaw-puller.The detained rickshaw-puller was identified as Razib Hossen. Chief security officer of the university, Shudipto Shaheen, said, “An Islamnagar-bound rickshaw from Prantik Gate, was carrying the 3 bags of guava. At Chourangi area, we moved to search the rickshaw and seized the phensidyl from inside those bags as we had doubts about the contents of those bags.”
At around 9 pm, university authorities handed the phensidyl bottles and the detainee over to Ashulia police station. – JU Correspondent
