That means the number of members in the committee now rises to 5, said a press release issued by Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Monday.
The deadline for submitting the probe report has been extended with seven working days, the press release added.
On November 28, Biman Bangladesh Airlines and the Aviation and Tourism Ministry have formed two separate probe committees to investigate the technical glitch in the flight.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines formed a four-member probe committee, led by Chief of Technical Captain Fazal Mahmud Chowdhury.
Later, the Aviation and Tourism Ministry formed another probe committee, led by Additional Secretary Swapan Kumar Sarkar (Administration and Tourism) to investigate the incident.
On November 27, Hasina left Dhaka for Budapest in a Biman Bangladesh flight but had to make an emergency detour and land in Turkmenistan capital Ashbagat for four hours after the oil pressure dropped in one of the engines of the plane.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon has said the disruption was the result of human error.
