Dhaka, March 21 – An accused in a case filed for leaking questions of police recruitment test was placed on remand for a day to quiz him in connection with the crime.Magistrate Sattyabrata Sikder of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka passed the remand order after hearing on a plea seeking 10 days’ remand.
Earlier, investigation officer SI Md Mostafizur Rahman of Sher-e- Bangla Nagar Police Station of the city produced accused Abdullah Al Shaon before the CMM Court seeking the remand to interrogate him.
The remand prayer says that accused Shaon collected and distributed questions of Police SI written test, 2018 through electronic device. The test began at 2 pm on March 20 and after some time the suspect was captured with electronic device.
The case was filed with Sher-e- Bangla Nagar Police Station under the Public Examination (Crime) Act. – Special Correspondent
