Rapid Action Battalion held three people, including literature and cultural affairs secretary of Chhatra Shibir Yasin Arafat, allegedly with huge ammunition and Jihadi books on Saturday night.
A source of RAB-3 confirmed it to banglanews through a short message service (SMS).
Earlier, family members alleged that a group of plain dressed law enforcers picked up Yasin from his residence in city’s Mugda area around 11:00pm.
Yasin, a master’s student of Arabic Department of Dhaka University, hailed from Langlakot of Comilla district.
As senior leaders of Shibir remained in jail, Yasin has been discharging duties as spokesperson of the party since last couple of months.
