Rajshahi, March 26 – A student of Rajshahi University (RU) was detained over the allegation of sending sexual message and Porn video to the female students on 20 March Tuesday night and released on next day on condition of giving a bond.The accused has been identified as AKM Nazmul Hasan Shishir, a 2nd year student of Law department of the university.
Demanding the punishment of the accused victims have submitted their complain to the Chairman of Law Department, Dean of Law Faculty, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Vice-chancellor of the University on March 25 Sunday.
It has been stated in the allegation, from a facebook ID named as ‘Mrinmoy Ayan’ obscene message and video were continuously sent to the various female’s Ids and indecent offers were also sent.
Contacted, Officer in Charge of Malopara Police Station said we have detained a student in red-handed with sending foul messages and offers to the various females IDs and we released him as victims decided to file the complain to the university authority.
Chairman of the law department Professor Dr. M Abdul Hannan said decision will be taken regarding the matter in next academic meeting.
Till writing the report a case has been filed with Sylhet Judge Court and a General Diary has been filed with Motihar Police Station. The cell of the accused was found switched off. – RU Correspondent
