Dhaka – A man was beaten to death in Khejurtek area of Ashulia on Friday morning over a trifling matter.The deceased was identified as Babul Hossain, 60.Mohsinul Kader, officer-in-charge of Ashulia Police Station, said Babul’s two grandchildren ate two papayas from a tree of one Saidur Rahman without his permission in the morning.
Saidur locked into an altercation with Babul over the issue.At one stage, he hit the sexagenarian man and beat him mercilessly, leaving him injured.The injured was taken to local Gono Sashtho Kendra where doctors declared him dead.Police arrested Saidur in this connection.UNB
