Dhaka – The body of Mahbubul Hoque Shakil, Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina’s special assistant, was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for an autopsy on Wednesday morning, UNB news agency reported.Officer-in-charge of Gulshan Police Station Sirajul Islam said the body of the deceased was taken DMCH around 7:50am from Birdem Hospital mortuary.
Shakil, former vice-president of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), died at a restaurant in the city’s Gulshan area on Tuesday. Initially the cause of death was mentioned as cardiac arrest.
