Police in a drive arrested an alleged terrorist along with a pistol
and three rounds of bullet from in front of Puratan Pouroshava
building in the district town on Monday night.
The arrestee was identified as Sajal Mahmud alias Golakata Rony, son
of Abul Khayer of Barandipara Khaldhar Road area of the town.
Sub-inspector Faruqe Hossain of Kotwali Model Police Station said
being tipped off, a team of police launched a drive in the area around
10.00pm and arrested Rony along with a 9mm pistol and three rounds of
bullet.
