Mymensingh, Feb 28 – Two motorcyclists, including a Union Parishad member, were killed as a truck smashed their bike at Bottola in Ishwarganj upazila of Mymensingh early Tuesday.The victims were identified as Mortuza Ali, 50, UP member of No. 4 Maizbagh union of the upazila, and Shahin Miah, 28.
Badrul Alam, officer-in-charge of Ishwarganj Police Station, said the moving truck hit the motorcycle around 2:30am, leaving Mortuz dead on the spot and Shahin critically injured.
Shahin died on the way to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. – UNB
