Robbers looted valuables from a pagoda at Gazirchat here early Sunday.Dharmanenda, Principal of Savar Bona Bihar, said a gang of masked bandits, numbering 7/8, stormed into the pagoda breaking open the iron door at about 2:30 am.
Later, they tied him up and looted valuables, including cash money from the donation box, one laptop, one computer and three mobile phone sets, made away with the booty, said Manju Mitra Chakma, cashier of the pagoda.
On information, Dhaka’s additional superintendent of police Faruk Hossain visited the spot. (Source: UNB)
