Police recovered the bodies of a woman and her two children from Borobakhair village in Nabiganj upazila on Sunday morning.The deceased were identified as Romana Begum, 26, wife of Farid Miah, a resident of the village, and her son Musa, 8, and daughter Muslima, 5.Locals spotted Romana’s body hanging from a tree and her two children’ s bodies floating in a pond around 2:30am and informed police, said Meher Ali Moholdar, chairman of Borobakhair union parishad.Police visited the spot and recovered the bodies.Police suspected that Romana had first drowned her two children in the pond and then took her life by hanging herself with the tree.Further details of the incident could not be known immediately. -UNB, Habiganj
