Visiting Saudi Prince Turki bin Abdullah Aziz Al Saud and his brother Prince Badar bin Abdullah met BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Tuesday evening.The 40-minute meeting that began around 7:50pm was held at the BNP chief’s Gulshan residence.President of Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Dr Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al-Madani and Saudi Ambassador in Dhaka Abdullah HM Al-Mutairi, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, vice chairman Chowdhury Kamal Ibne Yusuf, chairperson’s advisers Mir Mohammad Nasir Uddin, Reaz Rahman, Sabihuddin and chairperson’s Saudi Arabia affairs special envoy were present at the meeting.However, there was no briefing from either side about the meeting.A BNP leader who was present at the meeting said various issues relating to bilateral interests of the two nations and peace and progress of the Muslim Ummah, came up for discussion at the meeting.
