Dhaka, July 3 – The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka yesterday deferred the submission of the investigation report of Manarat International University student Nasim Ahmed murder case to August 01. The Investigation Officer (IO) of the case SM Kamrul Hasan, who is also an SI of Badda Police Station of the city could not submit the report on Tuesday. For that Magistrate Amirul Haider Chowdhury of the CMM Court of Dhaka fixed the new date to submit the report.
Miscreants stabbed Nasim to death in front of their residence at Post Office Lane of Badda in the city on November 6, last year.
Slain Nasim’s father Ali Ahmed saif Uddin lodged the case mentioning the names of three accused and ¾ other unidentified people with Badda Police Station on the same day at night.
