PM leaves Madinah for home

Wrapping up her three-day tour of Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Madinah for home on Saturday afternoon after performing Umrah.   A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage took off Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah around 4:00 pm, local time.Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Md Shahidul Islam saw the Prime Minister off at the airport.   Hasina is expected to return home around 12:50 am on Sunday.   Earlier in the day, Hasina offered Johr prayers on Saturday at the Masjid-e-Nababi and then offered fateha at the Rowza Mobarak of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SM).
After performing her Esha prayers at the Masjid-e-Nababi on Friday night, Hasina visited the Rowza Mobarak of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SM) and also offered fateha and Nafal (additional) prayers there. She also prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah as well as the nation.
Earlier, the Prime Minister and her entourage arrived at the Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah at 6:10pm, local time (9:10pm BST) on Friday from Makkah.   Deputy Governor of Madhina received the Prime Minister on her arrival at Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport.   Earlier, Sheikh Hasina performed holy Umrah on Friday.   After performing Umrah, Hasina prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah as well as welfare of Bangladesh and its people. Later, she joined the Jum’a prayers at the Masjidul Haram in Makkah.   Sheikh Hasina earlier Friday arrived in Jeddah on a three-day visit. – UNB
