Sunamganj – A young woman was found dead at a hotel in Old Bus Stand area of city on Friday morning.The deceased was identified as Chumki AKhter, 24.Md Harun-or Rashid, officer-in-charge of Sunamganj Sadar Police Station, said a young man Mahin Islam along with Chumki rented room no 101 of Al-Helal Hotel on Thursday evening, introducing themselves as husband-wife.Mahin went out of the hotel in the morning for taking breakfast and did not return.Later, as the hotel staff knocked the room, they did not get nay response.Informed by the hotel authority, police went to the hotel and broke the door open.
Entering the room, they found the the hanging body of Chumki around 10.30am.Police sent the body to Sadar Hospital for autopsy. (UNB)
